This 6 week course of 45 minute classes is suitable for complete beginners and those who wish to improve their mobility, balance and flexibility. You will be supported through the class with some gentle yoga poses which will help to mobilise joints, stretch and strengthen your muscles to help you move better and feel less stiff. You will probably start to feel the benefits of this gentle yoga practice within a few sessions and we will aim to find some simple exercises you can practice at home.
The programme is based around the principles of holistic healing with yoga at its core - no prior experience of yoga is needed as you will be fully supported from beginning to end and beyond should you wish to continue to work with me towards optimum health and contentment.
This 6 week In-Person programme will give you space to share your experiences with other women so that you can learn from each other – as openly or quietly as you are comfortable with. Each 1 hour 45 minute session will focus on a different aspect of the menopause with varied content and self-enquiry to promote health and wellbeing. Lifestyle advice and signposting management pathways will complement self-reflection, and the power of shared experiences will allow you to feel that you’re not alone in your menopause transition.
We’ll practice specially chosen yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindful meditation exercises. We’ll also discuss how natural remedies, nutrition and hormone replacement may support you, and explore different ways of managing common symptoms.
Together we will create a place where we will learn to feel empowered to deal with the challenges the menopause brings, so that we can embrace our own very individual journey with a greater sense of ease
