This healing morning will be hosted by Aoife McGrath, Cacao Ceremony Facilitator and Muireann Morris, Yoga Instructor.


The morning will begin with a cacao heart-opening ceremony, introducing the healing medicine of cacao, chats, intention setting and meditation followed by a restorative yoga practice.


The cacao used is ceremonial grade sourced directly from 'The Chocolate Shaman' Keith Wilson in Guatemala. The cacao makes a delicious hot chocolate beverage, which is consumed with healing intention. Cacao is a plant medicine from the cacao bean, which brings awareness out of the monkey mind and into the heart space. It relaxes the nervous system and helps to bring subconscious conditioning of the mind into conscious awareness for healing and release. Cacao pairs beautifully with pranayama and restorative yoga. Pranayama (breathing techniques) and restorative yoga help settle the mind, ease body aches and pains, knots and tension, relieve anxiety and nervousness, and feel more calm and peaceful. The body is supported by props to comfortably deeply relax & release in specific resting poses to aid healing and restore balance to body & mind.
