Yin Yoga is where we hold in the "yoga shapes" for a length of time, with the use of many props. In this time, it allows us to work beyond our muscles into the connective tissue, joints, ligaments and tendons. And over time and regular practice can work into the bone mass.

Yin yoga helps to hydrate the tissue to in turn allow fluidity back into movement, reducing joint pain and stiffness.

Students may also find an emotional release through this class.

We will explore different techniques of breath work to help us become present and calm the nervous system, moving into a soothing restorative flow, allowing your physical and mental body to become to a relaxed state. This then sets you up to begin guided mediation, present and still. Gaining the most from this practice.
