Lads Walk and Talk

Join us for a relaxed and friendly morning walk designed to bring together like-minded lads in a no-pressure, light-hearted environment. Whether you're new to the area, looking to meet new people on a new scene, or just fancy a bit of fresh air and a chat, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with others.

We’ll kick off at the Avon Ri on the beautiful Blessington Greenway Trail for a 60-70 minute walk, taking in the scenic views and enjoying some good conversation along the way. After the walk, we'll head to Walkers Café at The Avon for a well-deserved cup of tea or coffee and a bit of craic. For those who want to take the relaxation up a notch, there's an optional sauna, ice and jacuzzi session at Tinteán Sauna from around 11:15 AM. - First 8 to book will get to use this. Cost is €20 and confirm your name with Steve.

This is a laid-back, community-focused event, born out of conversations with men who’ve found it tricky to meet new people outside of the traditional pub scene or who may have moved to the area without close friends or family nearby. Anyone welcome - come alone or bring a pal.

It is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather!

Schedule (ish):

9:30 AM: Meet at Avon Ri and start the walk.

10:30 AM: Arrive at Walkers Café for tea/coffee.

11:00/11.15 AM (optional): Sauna at Tinteán Sauna.
