As the days grow shorter and nature begins to slow, we invite you to step away from the busyness of everyday life and join us for a day of Wintering – a day retreat to help you embrace the quieter rhythm of the season.

Held by Susie from Pause & Breathe and Lisa from The Yoga Social, this nourishing day takes place at the beautiful Sauchie Home Farm, a rewilded biodiversity farm where nature is free to flourish. Surrounded by fields, woodland and wide skies, you'll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself in a place that encourages stillness, spaciousness and rest.

Winter asks us to soften rather than strive. It reminds us that there is wisdom in slowing down, in turning inwards, and in allowing life to unfold without constantly pushing against it. Together, we'll explore what it means to "winter well" – letting go of the pressure to keep going and instead finding comfort, acceptance and renewal in the season.

Throughout the day, you'll be guided through gentle Qi Gong and deeply restorative Yin Yoga, exploring the qualities of the Metal and Water elements, inviting ease, resilience and quiet reflection. We'll also spend time in creative exploration, discovering poetry that helps us welcome the beauty and lessons of winter, before closing the day with a nourishing Yoga Nidra, allowing body, mind and spirit to settle into deep rest.

Whether winter is your favourite season or one you find challenging, this retreat offers a wee invitation to meet it with curiosity, compassion and openness. Leave feeling grounded, restored and ready to move into the darker months with a little more warmth, softness and trust.

This will take place on Sunday 29th November, 10am for a 10.30am start and finishing at 4.30pm. It's £85 to come along, which includes a nourishing lunch, hot drinks and snacks.
