Pregnancy Yoga - Hybrid of In-Person and Online Classes
A five week course 13th January to 10th February 2024.
Due to requests I am offering a five week yoga course for pregnancy. The first week, Saturday 13th January '24 will be in Bailey Hall, central Uxbridge - plenty parking and 2 mins walk from the bus/tube station. Then we will switch to an online format for three weeks via zoom (if there are difficulties for this let me know as I could accommodate you in my home yoga space). And the last week on Saturday 10th February we will return to Bailey Hall for our practice, and a shared lunch in Uxbridge, if you wish to join. It is a prepaid course, drop-in to classes available if a few weeks before due date.
For pregnant ladies from 16 weeks of pregnancy, unless you have a continued ongoing yoga practice with me and then you can join at any time.
We connect with each other, we share, we breathe, move, ease, strengthen, focus, prepare for labour, find space, release, relax and rejuvenate.
Classes are structured and yet informed by the needs of each woman that attends.
We start with a sharing circle before yoga practice and then spend at least an hour of practice.
I have, pre-covid, taught pregnancy yoga for approximately 8 years each week, taught a number of courses online through covid times, then sadly lost my regular venue. I love to share yoga with ladies at this hugely transformational time and look forward to you joining me.
All ladies that join will be sent a health questionnaire to complete and return before our first class so that we can practice safely together.
You have the choice to join a WhatsApp group with ladies in attendance to stay in touch.
If insufficient numbers are reached to cover costs I may need to cancel the course and will refund in full, lets hope this does not happen.
Stronger to advanced asana practice, inversions, pranayama, mudras, chanting, resting deeply, meditation.
Suitable for fit beginners to yoga - however everyone is welcome to try out this class. Be prepared to sweat.
Come along and be introduced to yoga, learn the fundamentals and build your yoga practice confidence. If you are wishing for a slower/gentler practice then this class could suit you too and if you are returning to yoga after a long break.
Everyone is welcome to this class. You will learn how to use yoga props to support your practice and all abilities will be shown how to modify each movement and pose to suit you individually.
This class can be a great place to stay or used as a stepping stone to other classes. Many students have stayed which is why it is call Beginners+(Plus).

Yoga for Everyone. Traditional yoga adapted and modified to welcome everyone to their practice.
Breathing, posture, stretches, joint freeing movements, energising movements, sounds, resting, meditation and life philosophy.
Suitable for wheelchair users, people living with MS, CP, CFS, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, limited movement, amputation, injury recovery, arthritis and any other conditions or restrictions that may make regular yoga classes unaccessible.
This class is more than 11 years in action in the Uxbridge community.
Excellent facilities, parking available and accessible at ground level in the beautiful 'The Chapel' Christ Church, Redford Way, Uxbridge UB8 1SZ.
Carers/family member carers can stay and practice for free, required to stay if their client needs additional assistance and I will guide them.
