A Sound Bath for the Moon in Aries
This Full Moon Sound Bath will connect your heart to the transformative energy of the full moon. We often feel emotions more deeply during the full moon, so this is the perfect time to release and relax. With guided breath work and a meditation we will let go and then surrender to a gong bath with singing bowls and chimes.
When you come to a sound bath you are taken into a place that is somewhere in-between, that slides into the gaps and lures you gently into pure awareness.
The frequencies of the bowls take your brain to a deep state of relaxation that is called the Theta State. This is when the brain waves slow down to between 3 - 7 hz a frequency associated with deep relaxation. It feels like being asleep and awake at the same time.

what is restorative yoga?
It's a quiet, supported and alignment based style that encourages you to move into a more balanced and even state in both body and mind. Using “yoga props” like blankets and bolsters we support the body to improve circulation and create space, gently stretching and opening and create a feeling of safety.
In addition to the poses we use beautifully simple breathing practices that switch on the Parasympathetic Nervous System that that frees us from the stress of ‘flight or fight’ mode and takes us to rest and digest mode where deep healing takes place.
This is a powerful practice, and helps you to take part in cultivating your own well-being.

What is sound healing?
Sound healing is the use of specific instruments, music, tones, and other sonic vibrations to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit. It involves using specialized sound frequencies to create a therapeutic atmosphere to promote deep rest, nervous system rebalancing, and emotional release. Ideally, a hypnotic, meditative or theta brainwave state is created which allows access to deeper levels of inner wisdom and healing.
This course will explore the art of the mindfulness of sound meditation and deep listening.
At the studio we have a large collection of traditional metal bowls, Frosted crystal singing bowls and the world renowned alchemy healing singing bowls along with other sound healing tools like drums, chimes and sensual.
