Unwind into your winter evening with very gentle movement, yin yoga and yoga nidra.


With the support of bolsters, blocks and blankets, we'll target deeper tissues in the body including the fascia, tendons and joints to ultimately increase mobility reduce stiffness and increase circulation.


Yin yoga is about moving very slowly and becoming familiar with stillness. In holding the specific poses for longer periods of time, we can also start to release physical and emotional blockages - we welcome anything and everything that comes up and use our breath to connect deeper within.


Through Yin yoga and calming relaxation we will shift from fight or flight to rest and restore, giving our nervous system time to rest.

With a deeper connection created, we will drop into a Yin Yoga practice moving into stillness and targeting deeper tissues in the body. This slow practice - inspired by traditional Chinese medicine - can help to discover and release physical and emotional blockages in the body.


 Finally, we will settle into deep relaxation for calming Yoga Nidra practice to conclude your workshop.

During this Yin & Yang retreat day, we will discover the power that these opposing energies have on our yoga practice and our daily lives. Through a contrast of energising flows, gentle stretching and guided meditation we will discover true harmony and balance.

This mini retreat day is all about restoring balance. We will celebrate the autumn equinox as the light and dark energises become equal, we to can take the opportunity to align with nature, restoring balance to our lives and in our yoga practice.


As summer comes towards an end, and the days become shorter, we can experience a sense of completion as we start to slow down, reflect and ultimately let go into a new season.


During your day you will enjoy a delicious plant-based lunch with our friends at The Crowspotter Café, move through a truly balancing yoga practice and if you’re feeling brave, take a trip to the outdoor sauna and cold-water shower…and/or get a little creative with some Autumn crafts or a chilled- out forest walk.

Expect to move seamlessly in balancing yoga flow, to soften into a cosy restorative yoga practice and to relax deeply into some autumn equinox-inspired guided meditations.


In this beautiful forest location, come and join us for your self-care retreat and allow yourself to connect within and simply slow down for a true sense of rest and relaxation.
