All levels welcome to this Nature lead practice allowing us to connect to ourselves. Park Yoga, come enjoy the power of a practice that draws each week on the wonder that is Mother Nature in all her glory. Surya Namaskar to greet the day with optional inversions and Asana. Practicing in nature allows us to increase wakeful relaxation & internal focus. Via Zoom until we come out of level 5 lockdown.
A class where everyone is welcome, a one hour blend of flow & strength moving with the breath. Beginning with seated meditation to align the mind, body & soul. A sprinkling of yogic texts & spirituality mixed with alignment focused asana. Begin your Tuesday in the best way possible.
A Yin style class for everyone, helping you to realign your Spirit. Bring your blanket because this class invites you to slow down, to move inwards by drawing on subtle but deep body movements. At the end of this class we enjoy a longer Savasana to allow the body to absorb the full benefits of a juicy slow flow. Great to press the reset and restore button on a weekly basis.
A recording (which is valid for 3 days) will be sent after these classes to everyone who has signed up.
We can't help but feel a little overwhelmed at the moment, what's going on in the world, stress, disrupted sleep patterns, anxiety, our kids, our parents our grandparents, everything is a bit all over the place right?
So this Sunday 11-12.30pm Grainne Hughes & myself are offering you a place to move out of this heightened state of living. Create a space for yourself to access genuine rest & acts of self care.
We will begin with a deeply restorative yoga practice, to slow down the stress responses. Inviting stillness & calmness into your life. We will then do a Pranayama (breath work) practice to invoke calm. After this the magic of relaxation should unfold you to prepare for lying down and open up to further healing with self massage.
Grainne will then guide you through the meridian, energy points of the body, followed by a sensuous self massage.
We will also offer a recipe for red lentil soup which will nourish you further.
There will be time for Q&A at the end.
