This class represents Hatha Yoga as it is being taught in India where I started to learn about Yoga.

The practice begins with relaxation and settling into the stillness. After a gentle warm up we progress to Asana practice. Traditional Hatha Yoga includes static poses which are usually being held between 5 and 8 deep breaths so that students can explore it, control the breathing, achieve stillness and stay present. The class will end with Pranayama practice (working with breath and energy) and guided relaxation. Beginners and regular Yoga practitioners are welcome as different options and modifications will be offered.
