A fun, supportive 6-week in-person ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training) introduction programme, which will enable you to move forwards in life with a greater sense of purpose, meaning and fulfilment.
Over the six weeks we will explore:
Who is this for?
Anyone who would like to make positive changes in their life; learn new life skills; discover more fulfillment and more meaning; and find some direction and clarity, within a supportive group setting.
Perhaps you would like to make changes but you're not sure where to start, or maybe life feels overwhelmingly "busy" and you need a new way to navigate this?
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training) can also be very effective at helping us to move forwards by taking meaningful action, following challenging times in our lives.
Our 6 week course starts on Wednesday 22nd January 5.45-7pm, running for 6 consecutive weeks. It's £80 to come along, with concessionary and reduced rates available. We have an early-bird offer if you book before the end of November it's just £65.
Meet Your Facilitator:
Pause to Be was established by Elspeth Lewis in 2019 to share the life-enhancing benefits of mindfulness with others.
Elspeth is a certified Mindfulness Teacher, sound practitioner and author, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is also a parent to two teenagers and a lively golden retriever. Elspeth recognises the importance of sharing mindfulness with warmth, curiosity and humour.
Following a fulfilling career in HR Resourcing in the construction and energy sectors for 16 years, she experienced a period of quite intense loss, and decided to take time out to focus on family. It was during this time that she discovered the power of mindfulness practice and the value of living life with meaning and purpose.
Elspeth holds a Mindfulness Teaching qualification from Shamash Alidina's Teach Mindfulness Academy, accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA). She also holds a Level 2 Diploma in Integral Sound Healing for Groups with the Sound Healing Academy. Elspeth has trained in the mindfulness-based approach of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training) for adults and adolescents, is a registered member of the CMA, and holds PVG Scheme Membership.
