Join us for Chair Yoga Sessions. Chair Yoga can really make movement more accessible, we don't need to worry about getting down onto the mat - we sit in a way that's comfortable for us. There will always be a range of options offered for every movement, so you can choose the one that best fits you.
All of my Chair Yoga sessions are underpinned by the theme of "self-acceptance" - learning to move with the body in accordance with our own abilities. We take time to really tune into our bodies - moving in a way that's right for us. There are no expectations that we can all move in the same way - you find the way that's right for you.
This 4-week block has the theme of "Spring Renewal: Letting Go to Grow". This block focuses on clearing out the stagnation of winter (physical and mental) and making space for new energy. Our four sessions look like this:
• Week 1: Awakening. Energising movement to wake up the body, emphasizing side body openers to create space and length.
• Week 2: Spring Cleaning. Twists and detoxifying poses to release what is no longer needed (physically and mentally).
• Week 3: Heart Opening. Backbends to build vitality, strength, and openness to the new season.
• Week 4: Embracing Transformation. Balancing poses to find stability while navigating change.
These sessions take place on Tuesdays 10-10.45am.
This is a 4-week block- by booking for the full block, you get one session half price.
