Chair Yoga - 3 Free Sessions - Bonnybridge

Join us for 3 free Chair Yoga Sessions. In these sessions we will be focusing on "acceptance" - learning to move with the body in accordance with our own abilities. Chair Yoga can really make movement more accessible, we don'[t need to worry about getting down onto the mat - we sit in a way that's comfortable for us. There will always be a range of options offered for every movement, so you can choose the one that best fits you.


This is running over three sessions, ideally participants would attend all three, but it's possible to just come to the ones you can manage.


Our 3 weeks start on Saturday 27th July 10.30-11.30am, and run for 3 consecutive weeks. These sessions are free, but spaces are limited, so please only book if you can attend.


Susie has recently qualified to teach Chair Yoga and is sharing these sessions to practice what she has learnt. She will be hoping to get feedback following the sessions from participants.


Meet Your facilitator:

Susie will be your facilitator for these sessions. Susie worked as a Social Worker within Criminal Justice for 20 years, and is passionate about helping people to make difficult changes. Since the beginning of 2017, Susie has been delivering mindfulness within her local community in Falkirk. She co-founded Pause & Breathe CIC with her husband, Phil Blackburn and is delighted to have opened The Place to Pause & Breathe in Bonnybridge and The Place for Martial Arts & Wellbeing in Bo'ness - bringing people together in community. Susie is a Mindfulness Coach and a certified Daring to Rest Facilitator. She is qualified to teach Qi Gong and Chair Yoga. Her approach is trauma-sensitive, and she is an advocate of giving participants choice in everything she offers.
