Train the Trainer in Neurogenic Bowel Management for Spinal Cord Injury - TTT0426

This training is specific to registered nurses who wish to provide neurogenic bowel training locally. All attendees must have previously completed a recognised course in Neurogenic Bowel Management and must have evidence from clinical practice in delivering neurogenic bowel care .[Evidence can take the form of a practice log, reflective portfolio and / or a letter from a line manager].

Following this course, attendees will be able to:

– Design a course on management of the neurogenic bowel

– Deliver a course taking into account the different adult learning styles

– Provide theoretical and practical assessment

– Evaluate a course content

All attendees must have previously completed a recognised course in Neurogenic Bowel Management.  

Course Details: 16th April 2026 - The course runs from 9.00am – 5.00pm; the cost is €170.00 per delegate (including morning tea or coffee and lunch, including dessert).

Delegates: Suitable for all registered nurses in both hospital and community setting

Accreditation: 6 CEUs from Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland NMBI. Assessment of clinical competency to be achieved locally.
