Come along to Connect, Contrast and Thrive Yoga + Sauna session, where we will come together to practice yoga and experience the benefits of contrast therapy using the fantastic Wild Ritual Sauna and cold water. Whether you want to have a dip in the sea or use the buckets of cold water, it will be a revitalising experience!
What to expect from the session:
We will meet at the beach under Dunure Castle where our yoga practice will start with breath work, then move through a gentle flow and finish with a short guided relaxation. This class is suitable for everyone and every body!
We will then head to the sauna where you will have the option to go in for a cold dip in the sea or head straight into the sauna. (It is recommended that people spend between 10-15 mins at a time in the sauna before taking a break outside and choosing between using buckets of cold water or braving the sea again.)
The sauna will be available for everyone to use freely so there is plenty of time to get the benefits of the contrast therapy. Taking a break outside, in between sauna and cold water is recommended, especially if you are new to contrast therapy to allow your heart rate to come down a bit.
After the sauna, there will be time for everyone to connect and have hot or cold refreshments and some tasty snacks, which will be provided.
