YOGA & FOREST BATHING in the Woods combines the grounding benefits of yoga with the mindful, restorative practice of Forest Bathing for a deeply rejuvenating experience.


Join Alice (alice faulkner yoga) and Samantha (Fleeting Fern) for a peaceful morning of movement, mindfulness, and nature connection in the beautiful Otley Chevin Forest Park.

09:30 – 10:30 Grounding Woodland Yoga with Alice

10:30 – 11:00 Tea Break with warming herbal tea & delicious vegan treat

11:00 – 12:30 Forest Bathing with Samantha

12:30 – 13:00 Fleeting Fern Tea Ceremony - a new mindful way of making a cup of tea! Whilst you’re sipping up the woodland, enjoy a tea sweet, and embrace this Fleeting Fern way of tea.


You’re welcome to join us for one session, or the half day. Closer to the event we may additionally add an afternoon Sound Bath with Reiki session with the spectacular Charlotte (Soundwaves) if the temperatures are warm enough. You'll be able to add this session onto your booking at a later date.

The Sessions

Grounding Woodland Yoga

A nourishing, slow hatha flow rooted in connection – to your body, your breath, and the natural world around you. Welcoming and supportive for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced yogis.


Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)

A guided, sensory immersion in nature. Through slowing down and engaging your senses, you deepen your connection to the natural world and yourself.


Studies suggest forest bathing may help to:

• Reduce stress and anxiety

• Support immune function

• Lower blood pressure

• Improve clarity and focus

*Don't have a yoga mat ? Just message Alice beforehand and we'll bring one for you.


It’s often cooler in the woods than expected – extra layers are always a good idea.  


Practical Details

• Tickets are non-refundable (except in exceptional circumstances), but may be transferable to a future collaborative event.

• If cost is a genuine barrier, please reach out – we’ll always try to work something out where we can.

• Exact location details and parking info will be sent after booking (please check spam/junk folders).

• There are no toilets on site – you’re welcome to visit Mistal Kitchen (~20 min walk) with wild wees in between sessions.
