A perfect class for athlete's, or anyone who has been driving or sitting for prolonged hours. The hips and the hamstrings will be targeted through a range of active and passive stretches. This class will also ease tension in the lower back by increasing spaciousness in the spine and improving mobility in the hips and hamstrings. Expect to work the muscles and be left feeling relaxed by the end of the class. There will be some breathwork and a short meditation at the end.
Begin the day with connection and gentle movement. This is an open-level class catering towards the physical needs of both men and women. Choosing to tune inwards, stretch and breath is one of the best things we can do for ourselves in the morning. The focus of the class is to experience a full-body stretch and to de-stress from the busy work week. Students will be guided through 'Sun Salutations' and flow through standing and seated Hatha postures at a steady pace with care and awareness. There will be breathwork and meditation. This gentle practice is the perfect way to clear the mental and emotional channels for the weekend ahead.
Start your Saturday off right with a strong vinyasa flow practice. This is an open-level dynamic class that synchronizes movement and breath in a continuous flow of postures beginning with 'Sun Salutations'. The focus will be on building strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. This is an invigorating class offering a challenge for regular practitioners but also variations for beginner yogis. There will be some breathwork and a short meditation and relaxation at the end.
