Yoga Nidra-Deep Restore, Relaxation, Repair & Renew
Yoga Nidra is an ancient Meditation technique that has the power to take us within, to the deepest levels of relaxation, calm and stillness. It is known as the Sleep Yoga, because during the deep sequencing of body and mind relaxation, the brain waves quieten down body becomes still, mind becomes quiet. Unlike sleep, however the deeper mind is still awake, alert and with the deliberate creation of a sangkalpa purposely carrying out an intention. This could be to restore balance and return the body and mind to a place of regulation, integration, harmony, health and wellbeing.
With practice, we can also address our worries, anxieties and stress and erase our most persistent, negative thoughts, habits and behavioural patterns. We can even go beyond our clutter to explore our true potential, deepest desires and purpose and start on our journey to manifest at a higher level of consciousness.
