Join me in celebrating the 2020 Winter Solstice, an evening to give you Time and Space for Reflection, Rest and Ease.
By candlelight we will move, reflect and REST deeply with an aim to Relax, Restore and Renew.
The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year; and the official start of winter. The darkest night invites us to fully turn our awareness inwards and shed light on the places we have perhaps forgotten or neglected, we have the opportunity to shed what no longer serves us.
It is a wonderful time to reflect back on the year; acknowledging how far we have come, how we have grown and evolved and what still needs nurturing and tending to. It is a wonderful time to slow down, rest and gently fall into a greater state of being rather than doing.
We will start with a slow flow yoga practice to allow us to arrive into the body and prepare us for the journey inwards.
There will be a guided Meditation and journaling to allow space for reflection and introspection to explore what we’d like to let go of and what we’d like to plant as seeds for moving forwards into 2021.
We will then move into a carefully designed and nurturing Yin Yoga practice and conclude this delightful evening with a long Savasana, allowing our intentions to settle and take root.
