Prenatal Yoga


Yoga can help during pregnancy, a time when the body is undergoing so many changes. Pregnancy is an ideal time to start yoga, to continue your yoga practice sympathetically to your growing and changing body and to have the opportunity to meet other mums-to-be. Practicing yoga in pregnancy can help to gently stretch and tone your body as your baby grows, prepare for birth and provide tools to help promote a sense of balance and wellbeing.

Each class includes relaxation and pranayama (breathing techniques) to help during labour and asana (physical movements and poses) to help relieve common pregnancy ailments whilst strengthening the body and increasing flexibility. You will leave feeling calm and relaxed – bliss!


Yoga during pregnancy has been shown to:

• Boost energy levels

• Cultivate breathing techniques

• Empower women to have a conscious birthing experience

• Relieve stress and anxiety

• Strengthen birthing muscles

• Promote relaxation and restful sleep

• Keep the body supple

• Relieve lower back pain

• Relieve swollen joints, heartburn and constipation

• Promote an active birth

Suitable for those who are at least 12 weeks pregnant. No yoga experience necessary.


Cost:


£9 per class when booked using a Credit Bundle (£27 for the Credit Bundle) *


£10 when booked as a drop in.


* Please purchase the Prenatal Credit Bundle to pay the cheaper price of £9 per class when booking the full three weeks. The credit can then be used to book each week’s session. The credit cannot be used for other classes or future courses.


*Please note that refunds are only possible up to three days before each drop in session. Cancellation of any credit bundle sessions after commencement of the block will not be reimbursed unless your session space is then booked by another yogi using the booking system. All other sessions can be attended as normal. Please check the dates and your availability carefully prior to booking
