Known as Yoga Kurunta or Puppet Yoga this is a way of doing Iyengar Yoga poses using ropes. At the yoga studio we have the unique "great wall™system, it's the only one in NZ and offers a lot of advantages over traditional rope walls. In this class you will discover a different way to practice Yoga. One that offers a lot of advantages, enabling you to use the ropes for traction in the poses - so great for joints, do upside down poses without weight bearing - fun and easier on the neck and hands, improve your flexibility, plus build up strength - you will work hard and build up core strength but have SO MUCH FUN doing it!
This class is suitable for beginners and will be a 5 week course that gradually builds up your skills with the ropes. It is a safe and graded approach so you go at your pace.
There will be an overrun week on the 29 March in case I have to cancel a class during term.
