Restorative Yoga and Meditation 5 week block of classes
In restorative Yoga we do less poses and use more “props” like blankets and bolsters to support the body to improve circulation and create space, gently stretching and opening and create a feeling of safety.
With the breathing practices we switch on the Parasympathetic Nervous System that that frees us from the stress of ‘flight or fight’ mode and takes us to rest and digest mode where deep healing takes place.
This is a powerful practice, radical even, and it helps you to take part in cultivating your own well-being.
