In this 3 week course you will learn a beautiful style of yoga practice that is internal, still and spacious, based on slow, conscious presence, rather than ‘working out’. Discover a way to undo and deeply unwind the layers of tension that have become the norm for so many of us.

what is restorative yoga

t's a quiet, supported and alignment based style that encourages you to move into a more balanced and even state in both body and mind. Using “yoga props” like blankets and bolsters we support the body to improve circulation and create space, gently stretching and opening and create a feeling of safety.


In addition to the poses we use beautiful breathing practices that switch on the Parasympathetic Nervous System that that frees us from the stress of ‘flight or fight’ mode and takes us to rest and digest mode where deep healing takes place. 


This is a powerful practice, and helps you to take part in cultivating your own well-being.

What is sound healing?

Sound healing is the use of specific instruments, music, tones, and other sonic vibrations to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit. It involves using specialized sound frequencies to create a therapeutic atmosphere to promote deep rest, nervous system rebalancing, and emotional release. Ideally, a hypnotic, meditative or theta brainwave state is created which allows access to deeper levels of inner wisdom and healing.


This course will explore the art of the mindfulness of sound meditation and deep listening. 


At the studio we have a large collection of traditional bowls, Frosted crystal singing bowls and the world renowned alchemy healing singing bowls along with other sound healing tools.
