Yin yoga is also referred to as slow yoga. This is a gentle class holding each pose for a longer period to help stretch the connective tissue in the body, and to release stresses in both mind and body. Yin yoga helps to improve flexibility and is the perfect compliment to a dynamic practice. This class can help aid recovery after injury (always seek medical advice before returning to exercise after injury). Suitable for all abilities. This class is taught based on TCM (traditional Chinese medicine).
