Our FREE Wellbeing session this week is "Nature Awareness" with John Wells from Well Wild. It will be taking place in Rough Castle Woods in Falkirk.

Being in nature is so restorative, yet we often don’t spend enough time in the open air, exploring all that nature has to offer.

Our session will consist of a variety of activities, which will include:

  • A nature trail
  • Leaf printing
  • Learning how to use bushcraft tools
  • Knot tying using natural woodland resources.

At the end of the session, you can expect to feel thoroughly nourished by the natural world. This is all about exploring your creativity in a natural environment, letting go and having fun.

Our Free Wellbeing Sessions are held every Friday morning, usually in The Place to Pause and Breathe, Bonnybridge. These have been funded via Falkirk's Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund. These sessions are held on an ongoing basis by Pause & Breathe, and we are delighted to welcome a range of guest facilitators throughout the year. You can come to all of them, or drop in and out. Please do book though, so we know how many people to expect.

This session will be held in a location in Rough Castle Woods. We will meet at The Place to Pause & Breathe at 9.30am, to drive to the site together. Hot drinks and snacks will also be provided.
