Mixed abilities Matwork Pilates class. This week there are two classes which are designed with the walker, hiker or runner in mind. The first class is a 25 minute movement patterning and muscle activation class which is a perfect to do before you go for your run/hike/walk to get the right muscles engaged and the joints warmed up. No equipment needed. The second class is a 35 minute strengthening class for the muscles that are needed during a walk/hike and run. A theraband is needed for this. This will help to ensure your walk/run is more efficient and is great for injury prevention. With the modifications, suitable for most levels.
